This Stage-2 air intake system resulted in 11 horsepower, 13 lbs. x ft. torque. This system includes a durable 18-gauge, powder-coated heat shield and features a washable reusable conical Pro Dry S air filter for maximum flow. This air filter is constructed with a 100% polyurethane frame, for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. This intake system also features a heat-insulating roto-molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. This is a direct bolt-on kit and requires no cutting or drilling on OEM parts. This system uses a C. A. D designed, dyno-tuned, roto-mold intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. This intake utilizes a, 5-3/4″ tall 360 Degree radial flow performance air filter for maximum air flow. This 3-layer progressively finer mesh synthetic “oil-free” media air filter provides maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque and is constructed with a 100% polyurethane frame for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The air filter is housed in a one-piece, black powder-coated 18-gauge heat shield that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. This one-piece heat shield uses factory mounting locations and comes with all hardware for a hassle-free installation. aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations.
