This brand new High Performance stainless steel headers for Mini Cooper R53 are made of thick T-304 Stainless Steel and are mandrel-bent to form and fit your particular application with the best performance results possible while the thick flanges and strong welds prevent cracking and offer long-lasting durability. The original manifold has four short primaries and a restrictive collector followed by two catalytic converters in series. This headers manifold and ‘Race-Cat’ has four longer tuned length primaries followed by a single catless high flow converter. With the straight-thru design, these Headers help your engine to maximize its performance by allowing the exhaust gasses to flow more efficiently to gain power and performance. Remark : O2 Sensor bungs are welded on the pipe so stock O2 sensors can be plugged in. Might trigger check engine light. Recommend to be used with CEL O2 spacer fix. Since an improperly tuned engine can cause the ‘Check Engine Light’ to illuminate, there is no guarantee against ‘Check Engine Lights’ when using this product. Off Road Use only.
